Ok. I think I gotta cut down my time on this place - the world is on fire, and being continually reminded of exactly HOW on fire it is, is doing a number on my being able to actually work towards helping in whatever way I can. Much love to y'all.

This 'crusadercore' aesthetic and its fascist connections has been in my radar for a long time through its connection to the
@crusaderkings.com
fan-base. But what I found striking reading this and looking at their examples is how seamlessly the ideology shifts between multiple-choice bigotries.

Julie K. Brown is a reporter for the Miami Herald who did groundbreaking work on Epstein beginning in 2018, including groundbreaking work on the disgusting coverup by Alex Acosta. Her travel itinerary was released with some of the Epstein files. It appears the DOJ was monitoring her in 2019.

I guess? It's a pain to switch browsers and I wish Vivaldi were open source, but Firefox has managed to lose a few decades worth of my trust :/

Americans having to bootleg broadcast news about our government’s offshored concentration camp is a level of fascism that immediately precedes democratic societies dropping leaflets on us from weather balloons.

It's truly remarkable how there will be news organizations and journalists who correctly identify that RFK is a menace and that HHS can't e trusted when he pushes stuff about vaccines or Tylenol causing autism... but cover the anti-trans stuff like "Well, HHS says so, and we should trust HHS!"

hard to overstate how bad this is for discrimination against everyone but white people. I'm saying we are undergoing a wholesale revision of equal protection and anti-discrimination law so that it only protects white people. Let me explain:

Assuming public opinion is static and must be chased, never led? Flies in the face of evidence. Concede to an opponent’s strength rather than attack to reduce the advantage? Bad strategy. Doing both of those on issues that have moved in favor of politicians you supposedly want to win? Nonsensical.

Why would a political writer keep arguing that Dems should go along with Trump’s harsh immigration crackdown, cruelty to trans people, and climate change-worsening stances as politically necessary, no matter what public opinion data shows? One logical answer is the writer agrees with those stances.

This is precisely how fascism works, by grabbing at and taking away a little more freedom whenever events lend themselves to it. Bit by bit you lose your rights, until you turn around and realize the road you're on has been long, and democracy is well behind you over the horizon.

Maybe it's easy to forget this as we all wade through the shit-flooded zone that is 2025 but "this country sucked and I, personally, made it great again" is basic entry-level fascism, and "this country sucked because of dirty criminal immigrants who I am now punishing" is actual fascism

I am so sick of this man and the constant chaos and cruelty. He creates the former because he is empty inside and indulges in the latter because it makes him feel something. I cannot wait for him to be gone from our lives.

Using genAI for concept art is so fucking stupid because like... that's where you get the cool shit. Thats the blue sky phase where artists make pieces of art that will be seen by a teenager later and change their life forever. Why would you want to start from mediocre. Why would you do that.

The US voted for a policy of mass deportation because they felt entitled in defining what American values are. The British are no different, and the term “British values” even become educational policy. It’s enshrining isolation and racism as a factor of social unity.

The criminalization of migration is nothing but population control and white supremacy. This requires reflection and few of those anti-immigration figures bother, but it helps consolidating power by also spreading fear and distrust. They are not genuine. They do not care.

On Dec. 4, DOJ labeled people who impede or "dox" ICE agents "domestic terrorists." I document how DHS believes following, recording, and protesting agents is "impeding," and has a policy of threatening & arresting ICE observers. That's unconstitutional.
