Last night @profbanks.bsky.social and I went to see the amazing Suzy Eddie Izzard live at Auckland’s Civic Theatre which is a glorious venue I used to watch movies in as a kid. It has stars and lions with glowing eyes and parapets and stuff. Suzy was hilarious and Jess & I had such a good time. 💜

I love this! My number one issue with our Masks game was that the GM set it in the Marvel comics universe and we were expected to tie our characters in to existing heroes…I had no time to do a whole university course’s worth of reading just to make a character! Collaborative worldbuilding ftw!

As an RPG fan with a specialty in generic systems, it delights me to see Cortex getting another chance at life. It's a challenge to process, but it's a book that truly lets your creativity shine and showed me just what an RPG can be. I recommend it in every serious RPG hobbyist's collection.
