Keep thinking about how hard it can be for black TTRPG designers and artists to get their work out there. I have ideas and could put together resources but not enough energy to do the other work required without sacrificing my own creative output. It's frustrating.

Today in TTRPG discourse is the idea that games that try to do anything other than what D&D tries to do are not popular and won’t make any money. So the only TTRPGs you are going to see succeed in the markets and hobby circles are D&D alternatives that draw upon the same experience as D&D.
