The first comic I remember reading is an issue of Spectacular Spider-Man (112, to be precise) where he fights a burglar dressed as Santa Claus, who actually ends up "defeated" off-panel by the REAL Santa Claus. I. was. hooked. 😃 So yeah, you can start anywhere!

We need to be talking more about process vs product. The end goal of education is not to have a certificate but how the process of learning and engaging changes you. Imagine the only goal of becoming a parent being the day kids are adults and finally leave. Or of a vacation to be getting home again.

An understated element of the streaming era is that a lot of older things are easily available and kids generally don't know/care when something was made. My daughter often ends up getting into shows that ended 5-10 years before she discovered them.
