That membership in professional organizations and associations matters for advocacy and resource development. Things can’t be built or studied or fought for without money in any sustainable way and membership dollars and voices matter.

When the public library serves the whole community, that includes unhoused patrons.

Writing a comic is not the same as drawing one. Drawing it takes 100x more work, pays like shit and is treated like shit. Artists should be first bill and treated like gods.
