The Broadview Six case was one of the highest-profile federal prosecutions from Midway Blitz. It targeted 6 people for their participation in a protest outside the Broadview, IL ICE facility on 9/26/2025. The original indictment was filed last October, then fell apart over the course of 6 months.

In the 1790s, Democratic-Republicans spent hundreds of newspaper pages criticizing Federalists' conduct in front of grand juries for Sedition Act indictments and they never allege conduct anywhere near as improper as this.

Even after being ordered to turn over the grand jury transcript, it turns out that the government was like "oh ha ha ha no, we didn't think you wanted ALL of it"
