Dec. 14, 2018, I was stationed in Alaska, just married my (now ex-) wife a few months prior. No friends or family were close by, no one ever visited. I walked into the theater alone, and out of the experience that was Into The Spiderverse. It was my light in a dark, isolating time. ☀️

This is my “I’m going to buy a sketchbook specifically to doodle / draw bad” post so I can be comfortable getting back into art. It’s frustrating sitting and staring into the middle distance wanting my ideas to come out only to be typed into words again and again. I want to draw my OCs gdi ☀️
