Not only has this Admin launched a regime-change war of choice that the American people don't want, they can't even get their story straight about why they did it. American servicemembers and hundreds of civilians have been killed — and all they can do is lie.

If records tied to Donald Trump are missing from the Epstein files, that's not a coincidence. The FBI interviewed the victim multiple times, so those records exist. Where are they? Release everything, as the law requires. If there's nothing to hide, prove it.

It wasn’t long ago that thousands of American families lost sons and daughters for a war with no end in sight. Trump is risking that again with Iran, and he’s doing it all without Congressional approval. The Senate needs to come back to Washington to do its job.

People who’ve never served are often the quickest to start dropping bombs without a plan for what’s next. The American people have seen this play out before and they’re tired of it. Trump is sending our servicemembers into harm’s way without a clear explanation or an end goal.

Trump ripped up the Iran nuclear deal and created this mess. Now, he's putting servicemembers in harm's way with no clear plan and no Congressional approval. The American people deserve answers — and Congress needs to do its job.

I’m thankful for our servicemembers’ professionalism and bravery. And I can’t stop thinking about those who will never return to their families. They deserve leaders who understand the consequences of risking their lives. That’s not what we’re getting from Trump or Hegseth.

We need to rein in this President. That starts with the Senate passing Tim Kaine’s War Powers Resolution immediately. It should have been brought to the floor before this President sent troops into harm’s way with no explanation or plan.

Trump and Republicans keep getting asked what’s next in Iran. Their answers are “hopefully” this or “we hope” that.  Hope is not a strategy, and a plan built on hope alone is how we end up in decades-long wars that cost thousands of American lives.
