The American people through our Constitution give the power to declare war to the Congress—elected to represent the American people. It's weak and pathetic how Congressional Republicans are limply ignoring yet another president trying to drag us into yet another regime change war.

Make no mistake about it—the Trump VA's latest plans to cut thousands of healthcare positions is part of their long term plan to gut and privatize the VA. We can't let that happen.

The Trump VA can't spin their way out of the reality that they've driven healthcare staff vacancies and are now eliminating them altogether. Healthcare for my fellow veterans will suffer.

Internal documents have come out that show the Trump Admin VA is working to cut around 35,000 jobs across the country. This includes cutting clinical healthcare jobs like doctors and nurses. This is going to hurt veterans' care and drive up wait times. I'm fighting back.

November saw the biggest monthly private sector job losses in 2 1/2 years, driven by small businesses that are grinding to make it in this economy. We need to get our government in the business of unrigging an economy that huge corporations have manipulated to crush competition.
