Earlier this year, I introduced the Community and Technical College Investment Act to create a federal-state partnership to make these institutions tuition-free, while offering wraparound support services to help students stay enrolled and graduated.

The population of homeless individuals continues to outpace the availability of shelters. We must increase the supply and availability of housing to address the root cause of homelessness, while also expanding holistic services to help these individuals with stay in permanent housing.
