It's lovely out from a visual perspective, but that's a 60mph road out there which is a rush hour cut through to avoid the speed restrictions on the big A road. Today only occasional local traffic and the odd tractor, still -6 out.

......and it's started. There's a guide dogs event later in the month that I didn't put my name down for cos it clashes with something else & it's a long way for me to go. However none of that fully registered, nor that I have Honda Jazz so currently neither the stock or physical stall can get there

Heartbreaking update. Stella passed away peacefully this morning as I kissed her goodbye. Stella won so many hearts, showing how loving and talented #Staffies are. An incredible police dog. Stella will forever be in my heart and always remembered for her amazing smile 🐾💔

I still miss my AGA, but am feeling much less bothered about the eye watering amount I spent on the replacement now that I can reliably turn out a full roast dinner with no stress. Duck, three roast veg, green veg, yorkshires and gravy with an apple crumble chucked in to make use of the heat. #smug

Very sadly, we share the passing of a member of the NFRSA family. RPD Ted served with Greater Manchester Police for 7 years before retiring this summer. Ted crossed over rainbow bridge after a short illness & our thoughts are with Paul & his family. Sleep well Ted - and thank you. 💜
