Ooohhh. Nice. Looks like fall-streaks, most likely caused by aircraft flying through clouds of supercooled water droplets, triggering a change to ice crystals which fall under their own weight.

Managed to find a variety of #daisyfamily for #wildflowerhour despite the deepening drought. Second flush for oxeye daisy. A sparkling spray of (I think) hoary ragwort and common fleabane. Greater knapweed just coming into flower - I've only just learned it's in the daisy family!

Never had grapes ripen in August before. Usually mid-September before they're ripe enough to eat.
