COFFIN COLLARS like this one were used to thwart bodysnatchers in the early 19th century. The collar was fixed around the neck of a corpse and bolted to the bottom of a coffin, making it nearly impossible to remove the body from its grave. Bodysnatchers sold corpses to medical schools. #skystorians

This week's date night was Flamming Korean BBQ on Blythswood St. Food cooked at our table with well generous portions. Delish Food: 4.5 ⭐ Vibe 4 ⭐ Staff: 5 ⭐ (shoutout to the waitress who served us) Value: 4.5 ⭐ Drinks: 3 ⭐ (the pear juice was 😘 tho) Never tried this before but it was a hit.

Scotland's first ‘Stolperstein’ memorial for a Scottish Holocaust victim has been unveiled in Edinburgh to Jane Haining who was murdered by the Nazis in Auschwitz. Thanks to Haining family, faith leaders, civic representatives, diplomats and all who attended. #Stolperstein
