Sunday April 4th 1982 I snapped my tibia and fibia just above my left ankle. I was 16. I then had 10 days in hospital and about 3 months mostly stuck at home with just Radio 1 for company. It's a period that was completely pivotal in my musical life and a huge impact on my childhood.
