Glasgow’s South City Way is such a great piece of infrastructure, am using it today for a hospital appointment. Hospital Sheffield stands for the public are bolted and vulnerable, staff(?) stands are undercover and cemented in . Don't suppose it matters if public's bikes are nicked

Today my street had two 'diversion' signs, 10 metres apart, placed full on the footway warning of a diversion for vehicles over 4.4m wide...a mile away. They aren't there anymore.

France, we salute you! This should be across France but also standard across the world. The UK could introduce this and it would have a noticeable positive impact on driving deaths and injuries. It would also reduce insurance premiums for those of us who can drive without touching our phone.
