I actually kind of like this move. It's a big swing, but an intriguing one. Now, if it's "he's OC in name only and the offense is going to be the same as it has been" then yeah, that's an issue.

When Keystone Kash's FBI raided the Georgia election office, they not only took all the ballots and equipment, they also took the back-up images of the ballots. Taking the back-up images means that they can tamper with the ballots without anyone being able to prove they did it.

It is very interesting to me that the Eagles went with the young guy with no ties to Nick, rather then the experienced guy in Jim Bob Cooter, who had lots of ties to Nick. It definitely looks like they wanted someone to bring totally new ideas to the room.

You'll see a lot about experience over the next few days, but my take is Kevin Patullo didn't lack experience, he had more experience than Ben Johnson did when he took over the Lions OC job; he just wasn't very good, and in the very least, not different enough from Nick.

With Sean Mannion, the #Eagles will definitely have a shift in their offensive scheme. Of course, this is absolutely needed. The lack of OC experience is a very high-risk, but also high-reward gamble the front office and Sirianni are making.
