Aaron Rodgers currently ranks 30th out of 31 qualifying QBs in dropback success rate. The only pass play that has been less successful than a Rodgers dropback through three weeks is a Cam Ward dropback. Of course, the Steelers are Steeler-ing and are 2-1.

Chiefs offense has been a rough watch, and I'm not sure they solved any of their problems from last year. But also: They are 8th in EPA per drive -- ahead of the Rams, Packers, and many others. I'm going to assume that's the floor of a Mahomes-led offense until shown otherwise.

Based on EPA per drive, that performance by the Lions is the best by any offense in a game through three weeks this season. 10 possessions: 5 TDs and a FG. Two TD drives of over 95 yards! What a performance.

There would have been a whole lot of complaining about that decision to go for it on 4th-and-2 if the Lions failed. Instead, crickets. Dan Campbell's process is sound. He and the players can live with the results. They play to win. The aggressiveness pays off once again.

The Lions' 5 sacks are already the third-most that Lamar Jackson has ever taken in a game. They are doing a nice job of making him hold the ball and finishing when they have a chance -- something that usually feels nearly impossible.

Brian Daboll now ranks 186th out of 204 NFL head coaches (minimum 50 games) in career winning percentage. The Giants brought back 10 of 11 starters on offense, the same HC, and the same GM from last year's 3-14 team. They've now lost 17 of their last 20 games.

Note: I actually thought Payton was in his bag today scheming up explosive opportunities. But part of his offseason campaign was about relying on his QB to make the leap. That has not come close to happening yet.

This game is the full Sean McVay experience. Play-calling, design, scheming, attacking matchups: one of the best in the NFL. But he cannot shake his conservative instincts with in-game decision-making.

Eagles offense with as ugly a first half as you'll see. 33 total yards. That's the lowest by any team in the first half of a game this season. That's the lowest for the Eagles in the first half of a game in the last 10 years.
