I am so glad I do not live in the UK because of the standardized testing and uniforms. I am autistic and I heard bad things about their school system and how they don’t give accommodations well and stuff. Being forced to wear formal clothes every day sounds terrible.

I don't think most people realize how much of a ripoff services like Uber are. Many disabled people can't get out of the house without paying 10+ times as much as a driver with their own car would have to pay and I'm not exaggerating. It makes the tolls people complain about cheap in comparison.

There are many reports out of Texas's urban counties where voters are having difficulties voting. Voting has been extended in Dallas County for 2 hours and many counties expect delayed results due to long poll hours. They are testing the waters for voter suppression this November.

Holy moly. Something is really happening in Texas. In the bluest county in the state, turnout may rival presidential levels. For a PRIMARY, in a state where the last midterm primary got 3 million votes despite casting 10+ million votes in presidential years.

Wild thought: US elections with primaries are effectively turning into a two round system where primaries are the first round that picks the person and general elections are runoffs that pick the party.

Democrats can win Texas's Senate race, even with Crockett as the nominee. Having Crockett be it may actually lift down-ballot candidates, because Talarico's persuasion strategy will likely only lift himself, but a turnout based one usually lifts everyone on the ballot.
