Fourth game of Cross Bronx Expressway in the books. Finally a victory! Really flabbergasted by this one, but in a good way. The “interaction dynamic” is equal parts narrative and cut throat. Lots of smart little nuggets throughout. Super relevant given current events as well. Review later this week.

Wrapped up the rulebook and learning enough to attempt a play of Cross Bronx Expressway last night. During which the Private player needed an influx of cash before the census...suburbanization was the best route. Oof that didnt feel good to do.

This isn't just a unique thing, a history podcast to accompany a game's release, it is AMAZING. I would listen to this even if I'd never heard of the game. It's stunning.

Non-Breaking Space’s approach to aesthetics and presentation REALLY resonate/ with me, and from the sound of it, this game will too. I don’t think there’s anyone as careful and thoughtful about presentation across the board (from promotion to art to graphic design) in board games.

This was excellent. This has been my most anticipated game since preordering it long ago. I teach government and economics: this feels like a game made for me.
