Another new mask today - Well Before 3d kn95 pro. I like the foam nose strip and the way the mask fits my face - it slips up my chin a lot less than an N95 aura (similar shape). However, I find the straps to feel way too tight for my head! I see one other person masked on the bus today.

Tbh, the KUOW story did give me an inaccurate impression of the facts. That Wilson's parents started helping with daycare costs this year, specifically due to Wilson's mayoral campaign, seems relevant to me and was left out of the original version that I read.

I think what the Mamdani's-dad's-cousin-is-his-aunt non-story reveals about white sociopolitics writ large is not merely that they will turn anything into an opportunity to distrust a person of colour, but "extended 'family'" is anathema to a certain flavour of whiteness, out of ignorance or spite.
