Key vocab! How do you deal with? We have a 'unit vocabulary' sheet that students glue into books and fill in as we go- feels clunky. As a school, we 'drill' vocab every lesson (choral response). Niche request: I am looking for a book extract or could be blog etc that is suitable for Y12 students and deals with consent. I would rather it was about consent *within* a relationship. It is a reading task but pupils will reflect on the piece after, so as relatable and readable as poss. Pls RT!!

Whirlwind half term …. Start of GCSEs, yr 11 leaving and both schools myself & Seager work at had “the call” two weeks apart … mine was this week! Now I’m living the rock and roll lifestyle I’m used to … housework, Tesco and a trip to the tip … the bins may get cleaned too!

Year 11 … get some sleep. Nerves are a normal reaction … learn to embrace them and not be afraid of it (easier said than done) … after all it’s just sums! Playing with numbers.
