transition, from Y11 to Y12, at my school. Iโm curious to hear what other schools do. Do you run an induction lesson? If so, what maths do you do in that induction lesson? What transition work do you set?

YES! The Maths Hubs Level 3 Leadership Communities, which I invented, are launched this month. Each Hub will have an introductory meeting, ahead of half-termly twilights for HODs and KS5 coordinators, in conjunction with the AMSP. So Network Meetings are back, baby!

I don't think I've ever shared a question on probability distributions on here! This is a question that I wrote for last year's mocks. Short, crisp, straight to the point. What do you think?

Bonkers to see attention on making school dinner's healthier (when they are already far better than they were) when the real scandal is portion size which has got smaller and smaller.

Genuinely something useful that companies could do would be to provide raw data, and charts from that data they produce, as open source for educational materials. I tried to ask companies for this data ~5 years ago, zero replies

This is such a retrograde step. With all the gaming of the past, and the dearth of arts and languages at GCSE and A Level, why can people not see the net effect will be less maths overall, as fewer students do the double subject. It's not a linked-pair pilot!
