Inspired by the great previous work of @kerrydunton.bsky.social and because @themathsbazaar.bsky.social is only looking at progression to Edexcel A-Level maths I’d like to produce some transition matrices from GCSE to @aqaeducation.bsky.social Maths. I’m hoping to collect enough data to be useful

My 2025 KS5 Maths Exam preparation resources page will launch on Tuesday alongside a schedule of when certain papers will release by… will post on here when the page goes live. There will be a few things already available at launch.

This is exactly why I don’t put out “predicted papers”. I always do “practice papers” which may be informed by relative frequency of topics and later papers in a series are informed by what has come before but I can not predict topics. For someone to pretend otherwise is a con!

Share this great video from @1stclassmaths.bsky.social far and wide. Students should watch this. So many people claiming they can predict papers which is especially laughable for any paper 1s.
