Throughout my time on the internet I've frequently seen people just claim absolute falsehoods about our mental health systems. For example, all the people who think, for some reason, we don't have civil commitment in this state. One person thought we didn't have state hospitals.

I've always been confounded by some of the language used by anti-homeless-people individuals because it didn't make logical sense. Until I literally JUST realized, it's because they already view homeless people as not having autonomy. That they are factually under the control of other people.

This just makes me laugh because it's a collection of "it's not working! I don't know what it's supposed to be doing but it's not doing it!"
