bus riders make 10,000+ trips on the 72 each day and every one of them will not only benefit from increased speed but also increased rush hour reliability that trimet has admitted they didn’t model despite knowing the reliability benefits of bus priority are substantial

Major transit improvements on 82nd ave are not up for debate. It's a local and regional priority for climate resiliency and environmental justice alone. We have already determined this! We must push on.

If you are in the Pacific Power area of Portland in Inner NE, the increasingly frequent power faults are because of an issue at the Vernon substation requiring power reroutes that are causing more trips and recloses across the grid. Wish they would just post this stuff on the website, alas.

Finally finished installing a new gas furnace and heat pump system. Didn't go fully electric due to escalating electricity costs, gas bills were already pretty low and I still have other gas appliances. Furnace takes care of the bulk heating, HP kicks on to help maintain once it's close to temp.

Chavez is a deadly street that functions well for no one. It's stressful to drive on, the 75 is slow, virtually unbikeable, and walking along or across it is a harrowing experience. We can and should do better.

The thing that's always frustrated the right wing ideologues who've glommed onto Trump is that he doesn't have the attention span to actually be a committed ideological warrior. He can scream all the right culture war shit, but it's just WWE pugilistic showmanship. He basically has no belief system.
