Embracing a label of "disabled" made me more confident in asking for accommodations. I can't get through a full work day in person without suffering in pain. If you're a chronically ill person, I welcome you to join this identity.

It’s ableism. Autistic folks require at least some lifelong accommodations to function in a NT society. We often have comorbid conditions which themselves require accommodations. We’re also disproportionately queer, so add in homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of queerphobia.
