The lack of coverage today for the Glasgow fire has been absolutely shocking. A major incident, which burnt down a building hundreds of years old, in the centre of the largest city in Scotland, attached to the busiest train station - a fire lasting *7 hours* has been mostly documented by livesteams.

Tonight there was a massive fire in Glasgow Central - a vape shop caught fire and tore through a 170 year old building attached to the Central Station in the biggest city in Scotland. 7hrs burning, no causalities or deaths so far. So thankful to Scottish Fire and Rescue Service <3

When you’re first getting into music listening, it might seem intuitive to start with short songs, but this is a bad idea. Because your ears are unaccustomed to music, the song will be over before you’ve figured out what’s going on. In the 1st year, anything under 12 minutes will be a waste of time.

I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
