big boss doodle from a while ago

Deleted this a while back because I didn't know how I felt about it, but for whatever reason now I like it I guess so it's going back up. I want to draw the rest of the cast at some point.

It's sort of a secret so I'll keep it vague but I'll be editing everything thus far in my animation to be shown to a certain person (initials being HK) at a certain event next year so I really, really gotta work butt off on this thing. At the very least it's a major motivational boost.

Many new games are coming out but I'm going to do something truly outrageous; actually try and get thro-- 🤮... get through my backlog.

Recently hit 50k on Youtube. My channel has been getting decent attention lately and while I barely upload (almost once a year) it reminds me there's still interest in this old project. I hope to make some significant progress next year.

Due to unforseen circumstances in my life I have to put the animation on hiatus... again. I'm sorry this project has been going on for so long. Hopefully things will change next year.

Someone in my YouTube comments says my animation is "the greatest", then someone replies saying that's an insult to "objectively better" indie productions. I don't deny there's better work but it's funny when people feel ownership and defensive on behalf of other creators.

A little while ago I mentioned I'd quit the Metal Gear animation for a few reasons (life/financial). I've "quit" plenty of times only to get back on the horse, so starting today I'll ride again. Though, I won't be very active here much, no more doodles. But I haven't gone.

Get back from the states and I immediately get the flu 🤒

Realized we don't have squirrels in NZ because one jumped out of a tree and scared me in downtown LA.

Having not left my home town since '06, to say leaving NZ to fly out for a convention was daunting to say the least. Never flown, sold art, been on a panel, its overwhelming. But the people I've met and connections I've made are what made the journey worth it. Thankyou @mgscon.com
