Love that part of being an adult, especially if you’re a parent, is planning your entire next year, especially outside of school plans, in November/December because you must know the exact money to set aside for camps, medical, etc, and fight in a virtual arena with everyone else over it.

My local library system has a small number of ttrpgs. While perusing the shelves, I saw Root, which I had never read. So I checked it out and read it. The moral of the story is that Libraries might have ttrpgs you can check out, and you can even recommend some to buy. Libraries: 10/10

I remember in high school standing with my friend at a Suncoast Video in the mall in the 90s commenting first on a new imported Godzilla movie and then an Edmund Fitzgerald documentary. Without a beat, the sales clerk said “I don’t remember Godzilla fighting that ship.” Absolute legend.

Meanwhile today I was reminded of the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald wreck so it was worth taking a vacation break to check social media. Because as someone who spent my formative years in Michigan, that shit is real.
