In my conference speech, I announced our @libdems.org.uk call for a new Energy Security Bank - funded by a windfall tax on big banks - to offer affordable loans for households, small businesses and community energy groups to lower energy bills.

Hospices provide dignity, comfort, and support at the end of life. Despite this, they are too often left to fend for themselves and find funding from charity. That's why I was proud my motion that seeks to do better was passed yesterday at conference.

The climate and nature crises are the defining challenges of our time – yet Conservative and Labour governments have failed to act with the urgency needed, leaving the UK unprepared for the damage already underway.
