Only MA could field an army of 20k in 24 hours, which Gage knew, and that’s why he was concerned with them getting artillery - then he’d have to deal with a field army. MA was an anomaly - one that other colonies couldn’t replicate, even when they tried

The other day, someone donated a "Make your own Monopoly" game to us and it had a 3.75 disc in it. And I discovered this is the way to find out who is old/young. I have had to explain the origins of this icon twice to the youth in my office lol And by youth, I mean like, 30 year olds???

I've been having nightmares about failing one of my classes...I have until Wed to drop without penalty other than losing my money and the time I spent on it. Not entirely sure if I can salvage my final project enough, but I'm hoping that my prof will get me my grade back before Wed so I can decide.

Anyone who’s ever used emergency contraception or gains peace of mind by even having it on hand owes Dr Camp a debt of gratitude. What a force. (Also, I just learned one reason the FDA rejected it at first was that they said the name Plan B was too glib!) Great obit—no paywall.

I'm pretty sure this one teacher is going to hate me including a chart in my paper, but I really like pie charts and adding color into my papers. She already thinks I'm too casual in tone, but this paper already has an extension and I am hitting my wall head first and repeatedly.

Hey so “underage girls” are…children. The word you’re looking for is children. They’re not like, women-in-waiting or women-lite or whatever. They’re children. I think some of you are very uncomfortable with what that means for you but it is still true.

This is a good article, but it is also important to remember that pensions were not the standard, even if you were wounded or killed. It took until 1818 for the first pensions to be offered to AmRev soldiers and they were very difficult to get and many had passed away in between.
