To recap: The PS6 is expected to exceed $1000. You can get a faster used AM4 system for that much. Sony barely has any exclusives. Preserving modern PS games is exceedingly difficult. Saving and cracking PC install files is easier. Sony is ditching physical media. Yeah, PS6 is dead.

I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.
