Don’t get me wrong there are definitely parts of part 2 that have emotionally affected me, but nothing has remotely come close to these moments and frankly I don’t think it’s possible to create a scenario out of what we have that will atp

and honestly if you’re looking for a death that completely contradicts what was set up immediately before it, the overall arc of the character and relationship with denji and absolutely shits the bed wrt wasting the potential of what that character could’ve been used for… baby that’s Yoshida’s death

my feelings on Nayuta’s death are that it wasn’t bad because it was sudden, out of left field or purely for shock/edginess value, it’s actually that her character was so specifically constructed and telegraphed to achieve the gutpunch reveal of her death that it flattened her overall
