Trivia: TOS “The Apple” and TNG “Justice” are very similar: both show primitive, half-naked people in a so-called paradise ruled by a ‘god,’ with Prime Directive debates. The difference is that Kirk destroys Vaal, while Picard negotiates with the Edo’s god.

Like "Code of Honor," the casting is pretty insensitive: that episode used all-Black actors to portray a violent “tribal” society, while "Justice" presents a perfect utopia where everyone is white, blonde, fit, and attractive.

Rewatching TNG S01E08 “Justice” A small group from the Enterprise beams down for shore leave on a paradise-like world, where the inhabitants spend their days running, drinking, getting massages… and having lots of sex. Riker is far too excited about it.😅

Really enjoyed the introduction of the M'Kroon through N'jal (awesome portrayal from actor Ish Morris, for the record) in the SNW episode, "Through the Lens of Time." Always eager to see new aliens in Star Trek & the design of these guys was fantastic. If only we could have seen more!
