I'm now into season 2 of Prodigy, and the design of the Vau N'Akat species keeps reminding me of adult Tenavik son of Voq and L'Rell from the Discovery episode "Through the Valley of Shadows." He's the monk Pike speaks with on Boreth. I wonder if there was some inspiration there.

I just saw two people get into a disagreement on the internet...and work it out like civilized, mature adults. It actually made me feel hopeful about humanity again for a second.
