the moral of dragon's dogma is that you can finish dragon's dogma but there's catches they didn't mention, and the moral of dragon's dogma 2 is that capcom is not gonna let you finish dragon's dogma so you have to do a bunch of insane shit to get a sequel and then escape the company

the main distinction between dragon's dogma and dragon's dogma 2 that strikes me as worth bringing up design-wise is how dragon's dogma 2 has weirdly comprehensive immersive sim features. and also that dragon's dogma 2 is about quitting your job at capcom because they keep sabotaging dragon's dogma
