Plaid Cymru have tabled an amendment to the King’s Speech in Westminster calling for a new Wales Bill. The amendment from Wales' governing party sets out calls for stronger powers, inc. devolution of rail infrastructure, the Crown Estate, justice and policing, water and social security to Wales.

This is essential and if Labour want to keep their existing MPs and Senedd Members in the next election they won't block this change. Wales' resources have been exploited for so long and after Thatcher destroyed the industry no attempt has been made to rebalance the country economically.

Morning Womble. Just finished Black Doe by Cleland Smith. It's a beautiful blend of Scottish history and mythology, revenge, sacrifice and motherhood, all told with wonderful authenticity and *beautiful* prose. (The pine marten is the star!) One of the best Scottish fantasies I've ever read.
