Finally cleaned up my grandmotherās hand-stand mixer for retirement display in my forever-kitchen. It still runs like a champ. I found an advertisement for the model from 1956. I had no idea thing is almost 70 years old! Glad they sprung for stainless steel bowls and passed on the cake timer.

If you grew up in the high desert (where slightly-stale Peeps were the norm) then moved to sea level (where humidity exists and Peeps get sticky instead of stale): Peeps at 150° for a couple of hours replicates the consistency perfectly. Let them cool before tearing into them tho.
