In 2011, my Mac deleted the essay I'd written comparing and contrasting two books I'd never read, nor ever intended to. With hours until deadline, I pulled an all-nighter to rewrite the entire thing from scratch, print it out and hand it in, in-person. Snagged a cool 78% grade. I didn't need a bot.
