A couple vertical crop renders of my #StarWars Clone Wars-era Skipray Blastboat model from last year. Modeled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, rendered in Blender. Pretty low poly. Just for fun I also used 3 kitbashed Star Trek greebles, imagining that ILM in the 90s might have done the same.

I would personally prefer a higher budget just 'cause I support reasonable production conditions and not working long hours, but yes, I do think Star Trek loses something if it doesn't have at least a few completely insane clunkers due to writers desperately trying to fill a 26 episode order.

Every time I learn something new about the OG Doom I just keep getting more and more incredulous because they made it entirely out of the fucking aether with a team of essentially children in under a year. Making deathmatch took under a month and defined literally all FPS terminology for all time.

As a vintage miniature collector, I am dismayed by the number of places that still produce fantastic classic minis that do not put in the time to build a decent web store. The very least one can do is ensure every product has a photograph.

Kind of the ultimate expression of my maxim "mecha skinning does not make a mecha game". A mecha game is defined by mechanics, not aesthetics. I really really need people to understand this.
