Homelessness, to me, is the issue I care most about in the United States. Keys first programs work and I want a lobby every bit as nasty as the NRA but for keys first homelessness initiatives. If profit weren't a per quarter thing, you'd think hospitals, at least, would invest in it.

Ironheart is a more classical Marvel show, but one of the better ones. The cast grew on me, especially once they introduced a sadly slumming Alden Ehrenreich who is uniquely great. After Hail Caesar he should have been the next big thing. Like, Glen Powell is fine too, oh no an unrelated rant.

Agatha All Along had a unique problem I'm not sure I've experienced with a TV show before. I liked every episode, some were very very good. They also had a song in the show that canonically had to be a bop and it's a bop. But, as a whole I'm not sure the show works.

I've now watched all the Marvel shows they've put out. Echo and Agatha took me a long time to finish because of real life stuff and because Echo was... mixed. I'll probably do a ranking because I like those but first I want to write about Echo.

Superman is really good. It's not too long, great action and characters with so many emotional beats that got me every time. Also nailed the "no small characters" bit that makes the world feel alive. It's similar but quite distinct from previous Gunn movies. Have to admit, I want more.

I finished the current seasons of Invincible. It's probably the best example of the highs and lows of current TV. Season 3 gives a much more graphic and honest appraisal of "the Batman rule" than everything I've ever seen. It even extends it into practical places of regular people morality. However!

I work in the big tech industry. The cycle of layoffs going on these days is the dumbest thing. Laying off people make line go up, which is good for stockholders (right now). At first, it seems like it doesn't affect much business wise either until 12-18 months later.
