There's a video going viral in Chicago right now by a guy claiming large scale raids will start around 2AM in specific neighborhoods. It's BS. The person who posted it has a checkered history of false claims to try to gain followers and drum up business for a private security company he runs.

Overheard in the music section of a Barnes and Noble: “I’ve had it with this bebop horseshit” and I respect you, time traveling jazz purist from the 1940s.

When Ella sings "the way you sing off key" in They Can't Take That Away From Me Louis should have played a quick bum note. A real turd of a blow on the horn. Just chunked it. Anyway that's how I would have improved that particular recording.

More Chicago ghost signs. Some of these were revealed when a building next door was demolished and are now covered up again by new construction. 😡

Had to check on one of my favorite signs in Chicago. 6150 S. Ashland Ave. The building was built in 1913 for saddlemaker Adam Seidlitz. His son took over the business and was still going strong in 1949, the date of the clippings from the Tribune.
