You donât have to like Nuzzi or approve of her conduct to understand that Lizzaâs choice to publish the material that he is publishing is meant to sexually humiliate her in public in retaliation for disappointing him romantically. The term for that is revenge porn.

Just your regular reminder that abortion bans are not in any way to save lives, but to control and punish pregnant people. Death was a known and intended consequence for these people.

Friendly reminder that dishwashers made after 1995 or so are so water and energy efficient that even if you ran them twice fully loaded it would still use less water than handwashing the same load. So many "green" things feel like sacrifices. Dishwashers are not one of them.

One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law! That's not something you've won in negotiations. That's just the letter of the law. You don't get to claim that as a win.

Was the thought process going into this that Dem voters would be satisfied with an appearance of resistance? That we would say, well, you guys tried really hard & we give you an A for effort? Because my opinion is that performative drama is the MAGA brand, it should not be ours.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where heâs advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing itâs a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
