Per YouGov Rahm Emanuel is the 78th most popular Democrat, behind everyone from Michael Dukakis to Barney Frank. He is 12 places behind Harry Reid, who died five years ago. To the extent anything's happening here it's *entirely* media-driven.

Look, if this country ever gets through this, MAGA memorabilia needs to be treated like Nazi memorabilia. Trump's signature should be akin to scarlet letter. Having a MAGA hat in your house should be like having Klan robes or family photos taken at a lynching.

I don't really think your opinion on Harry Potter has any intrinsic moral valence, but c'mon, you should really not be giving Rowling money or attention if you care at all about trans rights, y'know? She's not an author with bad opinions, she's a full-time political activist who used to write books.

Rewatching Scent last night gave me further clarity on why I was so attached to Dominic Sessa in The Holdovers: Witnessing OāDonnell get eaten alive by an unrelenting Pacino makes it a HARD watch. You could tell Pacino seemed to be unconfident in his screen partner.
