im a sucker for air museums and every year i annoy my family by dragging them to the USS Intrepid in New York

the thing i remember the most about the London RAF museum is the maintenance staff still having to clean up dripping oil from aircraft that haven't flown in decades-there was a panel open on the Lancaster there and the guy working on it gruffly turned me away when i asked him what he was working on😭

i've only been to the RAF museum in London and not the one in Cosford but i gotta admit hanging a Lightning Interceptor from the roof is actually a really badass exhibit
