Witnesses against the bill said it would be used as a legal vehicle to attack Trans Ohioans. The committee told them their statements were unwarranted. But Rep. King's floor speech was nothing but an attack on Trans people.

The Ohio House is debating a bill to severely restrict drag performances, which would likely be a legal vehicle for the harassment of Trans folks. Rep. @berylbrownpic.bsky.social is doing a wonderful job speaking against the bill on the House floor.
