Diane Lane starred with Youngs' brother John Savage in CATTLE ANNIE AND LITTLE BRITCHES. Youngs is likely playing Corinne's boyfriend and didn't make the film's final cut.

Caroline Coon’s early, on the ground reportage of the punk revolution in England, for MELODY MAKER, culminated w/publication of 1988: THE NEW WAVE PUNK ROCK EXPLOSION. The book ended up in the hands of STAINS screenwriter Nancy Dowd and Coon was brought onto the production as a vital consultant.

Bought this movie totally blind, and it was a huge standout in the new-to-me films from the past month and frankly for the year. Just listened to the commentary, which insightfully considers why the film got skewered on release, and why it’s so great now. Disc is currently on sale, highly recommend.

This is NOT the terrific new slipcover art that Tom Ralston created for FCE's GOODBYE, COLUMBUS Blu, just a little spoof, a k'nock, that I made, based on Ken Films' Super 8 box style, which I always fancied, and was used on a highlight reel for frequent GC co-feature LOVE STORY.
