Well, I do not recommend reading the book before watching Emerald Fennell’s WUTHERING HEIGHTS

Sinners is not Parasite or Barbie. Hamnet is not The King’s Speech. One Battle After Another is not The Power of the Dog. Delroy Lindo is not Marcia Gay Harden. Each movie and performance is unique and only exists in their own film and awards year. Hope this helps.

How are we only a year in

Seeing a lot of people on the other site trying to push a narrative that we’re in for a Social Network/King’s Speech situation. It’s so so forced, especially because it’s impossible to label OBAA as a “cold” film which is usually the Achilles Heel of a movie like TSN that loses at the finish line.

I’ve been wondering what’s been off to me about the vibe of THE BRIDE! and I think it’s that it looks and feels similar to JOKER.
