Fonda Sun, Dunaway Moon, Keaton Rising | Host of Oscar Wild
Itâs so funny when people pretend that theyâve seen classic films, but they can only speak in depth about movies that have been nominated for Oscars in the past 10 years.

Loved individual sections of THE ODYSSEY, but as an adaptation of something known for its rhythm, itâs incredibly clunky. Samantha Morton is an incredible Circe. More thoughts to come about specific sections as more people see it.

With all of the issues that Nolan has had writing women, Iâm very curious to see how he tackles âThe Odyssey.â Even more curious to see how many women review the film.

I have to say, itâs been really depressing to see so many women in particular enforcing what they still donât see to be a conservative agenda. Marriage is still apparently an end goal that will ultimately give your life meaning.

"Nikki isn't the villain in Obsession, Bear is." CORRECT! That does not, however, prevent the movie from treating her like a psycho girlfriend trope. The movie is playing to male anxieties while pretending to be a feminist text on "nice guys" trying to possesses women.

âMinotaurâ Review: Andrey Zvyagintsevâs Timeless, Domestic Epic is an Unflinching Look at Putinâs Russia [A]Â Cannes
The tales and lessons found within Greek mythology have struck a chord with audiences for centuries. The heroes and deities in these stories may not translate directly to a modern context, but the lessons and warnings found within make them resonate in any era. In the legend of the Minotaur, King Minos forced the Athenians to select fourteen citizens to be sacrificed to the half-man, half-beast who resided in a labyrinthine maze. The myth and future literary references to the creature address the themes of war and retribution, and highlight the inescapable fate of men damned for the violence at their core.
