Absolutely agreed. By default, this will be the Bad Place for marginalized people because structures of oppression operate through folks without their consent. This is one of the reasons why, despite the overwhelming queer and trans population here, BlueSky remains a very white space.

This kind of gender play--which most straight guys have probably done some version of--is a gag where women and femininity are the butt of the joke. In the drag shows being targeted, femininity is being celebrated and it's straight men who are being mocked. That's how they square the hypocrisy.
