Hey @hkesvani.bsky.social, just listening to you on Corner Späti and what you said regarding stabbings in London gave me pause. I live in Bournemouth and we've definitely had an uptick in stabbings the last few years. How it's reported is definitely an issue, as it's often covered before context.

As a British person, I really struggle when my therapist tells me that I don't always need to apologise for myself. Because like, are you sure? I really feel like our natural approach to most people and cultures should start with "Ah, yeah, I'm so sorry, I promise to try to be better than that."

Even as a tiny account with a total of two people I actually know on here, changing my pronouns in the bio feels... Liberating, terrifying, incredibly cringeworthy and oop, well, made meself cry. I feel like I'm reclaiming myself with two little words. Damn I'm cheesy lmao

Since one of my best friends moved to Tokyo, I've found one thing I can really hold onto as a silver lining whilst he's gone. I'm a frequent insomniac and when it all gets too much and my anxiety and depression wins over, I can flick to a world clock and think about what he's doing.
