After all of the resting and napping of yesterday I slept better last night, but the pain has continued so I’m now in the A&E/UTC waiting room having been triaged awaiting being seen by a doctor.

Families can be very complex and parents can be abusers. I think that if the letter writer is indeed a qualified and properly registered therapist, they should know that most abuse happens in families, and that LGBTQ+ kids are among the most vulnerable if parents are non-affirming of who they are.
